Contact Us

The right contact depends on which agency held the person and which record is needed. Russell County jail custody belongs with the Sheriff's Office, court orders belong with the District Court, and Kansas prison records belong with KDOC. Use the verified contacts below for official answers. Questions about this private website may be sent through the site's own contact channel when available.

Russell County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking or release record. Contact the responsible public office directly.

Choose the Right Route

Start with the agency whose custody or order is at issue. The home page sets out the full named-person search and release-record request path.

  • For a Russell County Jail status or booking/release entry, contact the Russell County Sheriff's Office.
  • For bond, disposition, sentence, probation, or discharge documents, contact Russell County District Court.
  • For Kansas prison movement, release, sentence dates, or discharge records, use KASPER and the KDOC records portal.
  • For post-release supervision, consult Probation & Parole and the official KDOC office directory.
  • For recent county-jail questions, use the sheriff, Kansas VINE, and court path because no official Russell release feed was verified.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE facility page and the agency-specific locator.

Russell County Sheriff

The Sheriff's Office operates the Russell County Jail and is the official starting point for current county-jail custody, release or transfer status, and an existing booking/release record. No sheriff-specific online KORA form, public records email, records hours, or fee schedule was verified. Call before visiting and ask for the records custodian, available delivery methods, and an estimate.

Russell County District Court

The court is the source for public case records that explain the legal authority behind bond, release, dismissal, sentencing, probation, revocation, or discharge. A court order does not always state the exact time jail staff completed a physical release.

Kansas Corrections Records

KDOC handles state-prison and state-supervision information. Search KASPER for public offender status first. Formal movement, release, sentence-computation, institutional-photo, or final-discharge requests should go through the current KDOC public-record portal.

Supervision and Notifications

The Kansas Prisoner Review Board shares the KDOC Topeka address. The official Parole Services office directory should be used to identify the responsible office. Do not assume a Russell case reports to Salina. The automated reporting line is 866-570-7225.

Kansas VINE covers adult offenders housed in participating Kansas county jails, not KDOC prisons. Official sources conflict on the VINE phone number, so use the live Kansas Attorney General VINE page or VINELink for the current access method.
